Tomb of Titi (QV52): Titi was one of Ramses III’s wives. During Ramses III’s reign, one of the most notorious events was the palace conspiracy over succession. His three wives included Titi, Tiye, and Iset Ta-Hemdjert. The crown prince was Ramesses IV. Tiye conspired with various high officials in an attempt to assassinate Ramses III to secure the throne for her son, Pentaweret. According to surviving papyrus trial records, as many as 38 people were implicated in the plot, including Tiye and Pentaweret, who were either executed or forced to commit suicide.
