Grand Pyramids Hotel — Attraction in Giza

Per motivi di lavoro dovero soggiornare in questa pessima struttura per un periodo di circa quattro mesi. Ma a causa di una totale e consecutiva inefficenza della struttura di ristorazione mi vedo costretto a cambiare. Le camere considerando lo Stato sono accettabili ma i tre ristoranti che la struttura menziona sono assolutamente FALSI:||1)Ristorante "Luciano" perennemnete CHIUSO||2)Ristorante "Pagoda" è un sempliccimo snack (panini e pessima pizza)||3)Ristorante POLLO perchè non ha alternative. Praticamente è un ristorante a buffet dove immancabilmente offre POLLO RISO POLLO RISO POLLO RISO e per chi non ha ancora capito offre POLLO RISO POLLO RISO POLLO RISO.Come se non bastasse il personale è altamente scortese e non disponibile,infatti se si chiede un ordinazione al di fuori del buffet (oviamente a pagamento) la maggior parte delle volte non la accettano a parte rarissimi casi dove per costringerti ad usufruire del Buffet servono piatti totalmente freddi e inadeguati all'ordine richiesto.||SCONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE A CHIUNQUE DI SOGGIORNARE IN UNA STRUTTURA SIMILE DATO CHE SARO' COSTRETTO IO STESSO NEL MINOR TEMPO POSSIBILE A CAMBIARE HOTEL.||Saluti da Comino Edoardo camera 1221||||For work in earnest to stay in this awful structure for a period of about four months. Fondamentalement, c'est un restaurant-buffet , qui propose toujours le riz au poulet Riz au poulet Riz au poulet et pour ceux qui n'ont pas encore compris offre RIZ DE POULET Poulet RIZ RISO.Come si cela ne suffisait pas , le personnel est très désagréable et pas serviable, en fait, si vous demandez une ordonnance de à l'extérieur du buffet ( évident, payant) la plupart du temps ne l'acceptent pas , en partie pour les très rares cas où la force de profiter des plats sous forme de buffet sont servis froid et totalement inadéquate à l'ordre demandé .||Donot À TOUTE PERSONNE POUR RESTER DANS UNE STRUCTURE COMME JE SERAI ' me forçais EN MOINS DE TEMPS POSSIBLE DE CHANGER L'HÔTEL .||Salutations de Comino Edward Chambre 1221||||Para el trabajo en serio para permanecer en esta estructura terrible para un período de cuatro meses. Básicamente se trata de un restaurante de buffet, que siempre ofrece POLLO ARROZ POLLO ARROZ POLLO ARROZ y para aquellos que aún no han comprendido ofrece RISO.Come ARROZ POLLO POLLO POLLO ARROZ si eso no fuera suficiente , el personal es muy grosero y no servicial , de hecho, si usted pide una orden de fuera del buffet ( obvio , por una cuota ), la mayoría de las veces no lo aceptan en parte, por los muy raros casos en que la fuerza que usted tome ventaja de los platos del buffet se sirve frío y totalmente inadecuado para el fin solicitado.||Donot A NADIE PARA QUEDARSE EN UNA ESTRUCTURA COMO VOY A ' me obligué EN MENOS TIEMPO POSIBLE CAMBIAR EL HOTEL .||Saludos desde Comino...

Well, I ve got different feeling about this place. On one side I ve choosed this place due to the possibility to get to the pyramids quite quickly. That the really first reason. So I can't complain that this hotel is in this area of Ghizeh. The hotel is quite good itself. The breakfast is ok lets say that I would not eat there each day. The room itself is large and the bathroom is good. The heating and AC is noisy but it s quite the norm. What was not really nice is that after reserving and writing one mail, two phones calls, no answers by the hotel and that s not good because as we arrive very late at night we must know that the hotel understood our arrival hour, and that we are three, two adults and one kid. The room had two beds only as we can read it in other reviews. The man at the reception on night shift did not mentionned that as he saw us three. I came back to ask him for an extra bed. But he seems that he did not want to get involved in that and leave it for the daytime staff by telling me that the hotel is fully reserved which is of course not true due to many reasons. we get an extra bed the next day but I had to sleep on the sofa without linen and an extra blanket whic was not really clean. When we reserve for three we must have beds for three people, not two twin beds. That s why I would not recommend the place because the communication and the problem dealings...

My main reason for selecting the Grand Pyramids Hotel was its apparent proximity to the Giza pyramids. The hotel’s website claims “just few steps from the great pyramids area”, but when I asked the duty manager approximately how far from the pyramids, he advised “much too far to walk”. I took a Careem taxi (Arab area equivalent to Uber), and the drive took slightly more than 50 minutes; and when we got close a security guard prevented our driving to the entrance as “Careem cars not permitted”. So I did end up walking - the final half-mile or so to the pyramids compound entrance. My experience makes me wonder what other website claims are untrue - certainly none of the restaurants advertised seemed to be open during my stay, except for the breakfast room. Sadly the hotel was far from living up to its description as “Grand”, with many public areas shabby and quite dirty. But my bedroom was large, comfortable and clean, with a view of the back of a nearby block of flats and the busy elevated highway running past. At least the hotel’s duty manager had been truthful, and on a positive note every single staff member I met was unusually friendly and as helpful as any hotel staff...
