I recently visited the Pirita Convent Ruins in Tallinn, Estonia and was thoroughly impressed by the rich history and beauty of the site. The ruins are well preserved and provide a fascinating glimpse into the past.

One of the standout features of the convent ruins is the stunning architecture. The ruins of the church and monastery are breathtaking, with intricate details and beautiful stone work. It's easy to imagine what the convent must have looked like in its prime, and the ruins give a sense of the grandeur and importance of the site.

In addition to the architectural beauty of the convent, I was also struck by the rich history of the site. The convent was founded in the 15th century and played an important role in the spiritual and cultural life of Estonia. As I wandered through the ruins, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the stories and events that must have taken place within these walls.

Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Pirita Convent Ruins to anyone interested in history or architecture. It's a truly unique and special place that should...

A site Estonia should be proud of, gorgeous in rainy days, especially in the evening, BUT Humanity invented revolving doors, to let people exit the area of popular touristic site, even if the so called guard can't wait till the announced closing time (that can be asked only by phone, in the same day of the visit), .and don't lock the gate, without even checking if someone is inside

,Besides, actually there is no normal opening hours and you can reach the site's gates in a dry sunny day, and it will be closed. The modern fence on the good old walls around is also very strange.

Nevertheless, it's highly reccomended to visit Pirita Convent ruins, and feel the atmosphere of the Middle...

I wished to show this place to my son, but we faced a closed gate and a malfunctioning ticket machine. After several hours, we returned and it was still shut. I called, assumingly, a receptionist who told me that she would be there soon. As a result, no one came. It must be noted that we weren't the only visitors willing to enter the covent. A friendly reminder - work on punctuality. I deem that it is not so complicated to make it to...

The Birgitta Convent Ruins (Pirita Kloostri Varemed) is a fantastic spot! The ruins are remarkably well-preserved, and it's impressive to see how they've been maintained. The history and architecture are fascinating, making it a must-visit destination in Tallinn, if you happen to adventure in theae directions of the Estonian capital city. The atmosphere is peaceful and captivating, perfect for exploring and learning about the past.
