I was blown away by the quality of the macarons here. Not only are they technically perfect, the flavour combinations are astonishing! Normally when you read something like "strawberry basil" or "gorgonzola pear" on sweets, it's always a little disapponting: maybe a hint of this and that, but nothing too pronounced.
