Pretty cool that people have made remeberance for those who fought here so many years ago, both Native peoples and Early Americans. Super important chain of events revolve around this battle and the resulting treaty; all of which began to shape the Midwest as we know it today. The site additionally pays respect to the Natives who fought for and lost their land. Must read up on this before and after visiting. Must see for any American...

A great monument in a quiet place, with a gorgeous view, documenting the Battle of Fallen Timbers. I liked that the monument addresses the losses on the side of the settlers and on the side of the Native Americans. Turkeyfoot rock is really cool, with a carved representation of a turkey foot in the rock. Nice photo app for the kids. There's a lovely walking trail that starts alongside the monument and goes downhill and toward the...

What's to see? It was a pivotal battle ending the North West Indian War supported by the British in 1794. This was part of what led to the War of 1812. The monument sits on the wrong site. The National Park Service has a building there at the correct site. It has no displays or staff. The building is rented out for parties, etc. There is a walking trail. The passport stamp was at a outside bulletin board and had...

Nice and quiet with scenic views of the Maumee River. There are several monuments with detailed descriptions and names of those who fought and died in the battle. This was what was thought to be the battle site, but recent excavations revealed that the actual battlefield is on the other side of the highway and easily accessible via a short drive.

Went to check out this historical monument and went to the visitors center thinking that there would be somebody there to give information or answer questions but it was an empty building so we were a little disappointed. But we did learn some interesting things about the history thanks to the posted signs.
