I dropped my Citizen watch off at this location to have the watch band repaired. As they could not do it in the store I was informed that it would be sent off to citizen to be repaired, as they were the only ones that could do the repairs. I was informed that it would take about a 30 days to receive the watch back. After about a month and a half I went to pick the watch up, after i was informed the previous week that it was at some other store somewhere, as it was shipped to the wrong store. đ€·ââïž at the time I went to pay for the repairs I visually looked over the watch and it was an exactly the same condition that it had left in aside from clearly being run across the buffing wheel. The watch band had the same slop in it that it had when it left and was almost about to separate at one of the linkages which was the original issue. Thankfully they did not charge me for the repair that wasn't made, however I was told that I would have to ship it back again to get the repair done. Obviously one can see where the hesitation someone might have considering this process already happened over the course of a month and a half and clearly did not get repaired. After reaching out to citizen to find out what repairs were supposedly done they could not find any information that said or showed that my watch had ever been at citizen! After calling back the Kay Jewelers location in Maumee I was then informed it went to a repair shop called Stoll & Company. This was the first time I ever heard of this repair facility and furthermore there was no information anywhere apparently on the work order that showed what repairs were done and what was fixed. It definitely was not a good experience to say the least! I'm sure not everybody has the same experience however The lack of knowledge and knowing what is even going on with the products they taken to have repairs done is quite baffling considering they're supposed to be authorized citizen dealer. Had I been informed that my watch would have been going to this other repair center that I had never heard of I absolutely would have made a different choice, again I was never informed of any of that until after the fact and a couple phone calls. At the time of them taking my watch I was informed it would be going to citizen! Which is obviously quite different than where it went, and...
Read moreI went in to the store at fallen timbers on 12/30/18 to have my wedding rings inspected per usual and requested they be sent out as I no longer wanted them soldered. I was working with Patti Kirsch, the office manager. She stated no that she didnât agree with sending them to be taken apart because I should have them reset at the event they have coming up. I explained that I no longer wanted them soldered and she continued to argue. At this point I was very uncomfortable as I do not like confrontation. Patti then sat me down and started looking for my husband and Iâs store account as it must be updated stating my jewelry was inspected to keep my warranty active. She stated she needed to update the account to make it easier to locate and asked me a few questions including my social security number. This should have been a red flag. She handed me a card and sent me on my way with an appointment for the resetting event. Before leaving I asked another associate to help me as I still wanted to send my jewelry sent out to be separated. This woman kindly obliged. It wasnât until I was getting into my car and driving home did I realize what had just happened. I called the store and Patti said yes she had opened a store credit card for me. This was without my permission completely ( my husband is an accountant and we donât take our credit scores lightly), no signature was requested, nothing about my income. I explained I needed to speak with a district manager, Jodi Sullivan (the district manager) finally called me on 1/11/19 from the store I was making the complaint about but I was working and missed the call. So when I called back Patti answered and stated Jodi was no longer in but she would text her and let her know I called. Still no return call from Jodi. I called corporate and she left on 1/21/19 for a two week vacation and no one else is allowed to help me with my case. We are nearing a month with the his issue. This is my first yelp review ever, but I thought if I can save someone else from the same issue, which I have now contacted the police about, then I should...
Read moreI honestly donât even know where to begin with how happy I am for having Kay Jewlers help me. I came in around a year ago with a grand plan about an engagement ring I wanted to create for my girlfriend (the picture without any colored diamonds), but I had no idea how to go about anything. Kate and Valerie helped me every step of the way though. They started by giving me helpful tips about places that sell trustworthy loose diamonds (as I originally wanted all colored diamonds), so after about 8-9 months I came back with the diamonds I ended up getting and prepared to start the next step of the process. They both welcomed me in and even remembered me to my surprise. Long story short, they got to business, were fast, friendly, efficient, helpful, knowledgeable, and always remembered me. They kept me updated through the whole process and gave me advice along the way if I needed it. In the end, they helped me create the ring of my dreams (the one with a colored heart stone diamond in the center spot)! I genuinely canât believe how beautiful this ring is and I canât thank them enough for all of their help and hard work. Every time I went in their store everyone was extremely nice and friendly, but those two helped me personally and I canât thank them enough. My soon to be fiancĂ© will love this ring and I strongly recommend that if anyone wants a trustworthy company to make the jewelry of a lifetime for you, then you should hands down go to Kay Jewlers in Fallen Timbers mall. Words really canât describe how happy theyâve made me and how amazing they are!!
Update: We will be forever grateful for the staff at this Kay Jewlers location! Kate, Valerie, and everyone else here have been absolutely amazing, extremely friendly, thoughtful, and supportive throughout this adventure. They helped take what my fiancĂ© and myself envisioned and made it all a reality! We came back a little while ago to get our wedding bands and they not only made superb rings, but also made everything fit and go together perfectly! Again, we are so thankful for them and appreciate everything theyâve...
