Kumpula Botanical Gardens — Attraction in Helsinki sub-region

This is a small charming botanical garden, which is nice to visit in the summer. There are many different plants in the greenhouse, and the most impressive are the leaves of tropical water lilies. Big outdoor area, prepare to walk a lot and spend the whole afternoon, there's lots of plants and trees to see, especially if you want to read the info plates. There is also a kitchen garden showing various cultivated vegetables, berries etc. A small area is reserved for natural plants and herbs used in traditional medicine.
