Big outdoor area, prepare to walk a lot and spend the whole afternoon, there's lots of plants and trees to see, especially if you want to read the info plates. Definitely prettiest during early/mid summer when everything is in bloom. The area has a cafe so you can sit down and eat. Lots of benches throughout too. The geological exhibition was also quite big and interesting. Visiting the garden requires a paid ticket, which is sold inside the area at the manor, not at the entrance.

The best botanical garden in Finland? Probably. Well maintained, layout compact but still feeling spacious and even forest like. Almost in the center of Helsinki. Tours are really good but seems that they normally only in Finnish. It is also a nice park for picnics and just enjoying the air and scenery. Cafe is a gem. Everything tastes hand made and fresh, with surprisingly decent prices for a location such as this.

Smallsize, well kept, lush garden that is ideal for a relaxing walk or family picnic. It would ve great if they have description of the plants such as usage, toxicity, habitat as well as their common English name. Only Latin and Finnish names do not really ring any bell or raise interest about the species.

Lovely place for a quiet stroll. We did not know that you need to buy a ticket, I think that should be more visible and in English as well. They have a romantic outdoor Cafe and a gazebo for picnic! Highly recommended ❤️

Very diverse selection of many regions’ plants and trees, a bit long of a walk through the whole area but definitely worth it! The cafe was very heartwarming with the best laskiaispulla I’ve ever tasted in my life

Perfect place for weekend outdoor stroll, kids friendly. Traditional Vappushokello (1st of May) event is held there, very interesting and fun happening, but a little bit overcrowded.
