Laajalahti Nature Preserve — Attraction in Helsinki sub-region

Nice urban environmental protection area. Wetland area with birds and protected flood meadows. Most of the paths and bird towers are on the northern side, close to Villa Elfvik. The southern side has also a single path and access to a single bird tower. To go around the bay, you need to exit the protected area. Also, you have only limited access to view the flood meadows. The bird towers give the best view to the overall area. I stronly recommend taking the path with broadwalks that is accessible from the middle from west or from Villa...
