Plage de Cazaux-Lac — Attraction in Arcachon

Nice lake to swim and bask in, especially for kids as the lake is shallow (thigh high) for at least 100 meters into the lake from the beach. There are restaurants and paddle boats with a slide for rent, too. Public toilets are hard to find, so use your ice cream/toilet break at the restaurants wisely. There is real sand beach on the border of the lake which is so similar to most beaches, only this one does not have much wave and is perfect for very young children. Also very nice family...

Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Le parking est à l’ombre et gratuit. Il est très proche du lac ( vous n’aurez pas à marcher plusieurs minutes avec les enfants et les sacs ☺️). Il y a une surveillance à certains horaires et possibilité d’attacher son vélo. Superbe à faire en vélo ! L’eau n’est pas très profonde donc les enfants sont contents. Le sable est parfait pour les plus petits.

Nous avons vu qu’il était possible de louer des pédalos, il y avait aussi du paddle et canoë.

Le lac est propre et grand, il y avait peu de monde sur la plage pourtant une journée en août et ensoleillée.

Schöner und sauberer Strand mit feinem Sand. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern, da flach abfallend. Ich würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen, einen Sonnenschirm und/oder etwas vergleichbares dabei zu haben. Die Sonne ist bei wolkenlosem Himmel und Temperaturen jenseits der 30 Grad erbarmungslos. Restaurant für kühle Getränke oder ein Eis ist vorhanden, dort kann/sollte man auch das WC nutzen.
