Great little museum, if you want to see the artifacts from the Arcy-sur-cure caves then this is the place. It's all in French but the visual element is fantastic so we'll worth a visit. They have facsimiles of neanderthal teeth found in one of the caves, but original knapped flint artefacts, bone and ivory items thought to be associated with the chateauperrion era.
They also have exhibitions on Gallo-Roman artefacts, some beautiful works of art in oil and a large exhibition on Eastern art, clothes/embroidery, writing etc. It's well worth visiting in my opinion and the children (5 and 6)...
