Not a long hike from the village, but it is very steep and slippery in the sommer with dry plants and stones. At your own risk to get to the castle. But a beautiful view at the top and to see an old building like that make the atmosphere really special.

Steep walk up from the village with some right terrain to negotiate. The castle is a ruin with great views but is not obviously maintained and there are no staff on site. We didn't see anyone else on either of our visits.

Sehr schöne Ruine, im Gegensatz zum Dorf ist man hier völlig alleine. Kein Wunder, die Beschilderung ist quasi nicht existent und an einigen Stellen gibt es mehrere Abzweigungen wo man letztendlich nur durch Versuch und Irrtum weiterkommt. Wie schon beschrieben ist der Weg nichts für Flipflops, aber ansonsten auch mit Hund gut machbar- und die Ruine selbst, aber auch der Blick über die Landschaft entlohnen die Mühen.

Schön ist es, wenn man oben ist. Eine schöne Aussicht gibt es und man kann sowohl die Felshöhlen sehen, das Dorf in Tal, den Flusspark und auch die Quelle im Felsen lässt sich erahnen.

Es gibt in der Burgruine einen Baum, der in der Mittagshitze Schatten spendet: ein idyllischer Ort zum Lesen, für ein Pique-nique oder einfach zum Verweilen.

Leider ist der Weg zum Chateau teilweise schlecht ausgeschildert, die Wege werden auch nicht gut gepflegt, sodass es mitunter etwas abenteuerlustig ist...
