Place Saint Nicolas — Attraction in Bastia

What a fantasic square for people watching, enjoying a tasty meal, cooling off with some lucious Italian ice cream or having a refreshing drink. It is a must when visiting Bastia. There are a couple of interesing historical statues to see including an interesting one of Napolean Bonaparte in Roman dress. From here you can watch the huge Ferries entering & departing from the port. There is plenty of parking in the area as well. Huge main square in Bastia. Toward the port are parking spaces . Surranded by trees, there are planty of bars and restaurants in the shade. Die Zufahrt ist zwar nicht so einfach, da unser TomTom Navi die Straße so nicht gekannt hat, aber ansonsten toll. Tipp. Einfach die Küstenstraße nach Süden. Am Campingplatz vorbei fahren und dann nach 3.6 km in einer Rechtskurve links in Richtung Meer abbiegen. Das hotel eignet sich perfekt für Inselbesucher, die mit der Fähre kommen. Es ist klein und überschaubar. Die Zimmer sehr gepflegt und das Bad super hergerichtet. Ein typisches französisches Frühstück ist auch dabei. Die liegen stehen am Perfekt gepflegten grünen Rasen. Drei Stufen sind es dann zum Sandstrand. WLAN gibt es auch 2 bis 4 Mbit/s sind nicht viel, aber fürs Notwendigste und bei dem Preis reicht es. Es wird auch ab 7 00 Uhr abends Abendessen für Besucher und Gäste angeboten. Die Preise sind allerdings (wie auch sonst der Stil hier) eher gehoben.
