Beautiful gardens just down the old citadel, you have a nice view of the old port and some variety of trees and flowers with descriptions. There’s a lot of steps, but I totally recommend going here if you’re touring the town center!

Havre de fraîcheur, les jardins sont visibles depuis le port. Un magnifique pin parasol se détache sur les murs de la citadelle. Il fut aménagé selon les plans de l'architecte bastiais Paul-Augustin Viale entre 1871 et 1873. Il comporte un escalier aux courbes harmonieuses, agrémenté de vases sur piédestaux, d'une borne fontaine, d'une niche à statue et d'élégantes rampes de fer forgé, et il met en communication directe le quartier de la citadelle avec le nouveau quai.
