Château de Malherbes — Attraction in Bordeaux

What a fantastic place. We booked for the barrel tasting tour and we’re not disappointed. We had a friendly greeting by Christophe who we had booked with via email, and Chloe took us on the tour. She was very friendly and clearly knew her stuff. After the tour of the vines, we headed to the barrel room and we’re able to sample wines before they were ready to bottle. We then had the finished products to taste of the three wines that are produced. Excellent tasting experience with Chloe, who detailed the flavours. We had a wonderful experience. Christophe warmly welcomed us and gave us an interesting, informative introduction, pleasantly responding to our questions throughout. We learnt a lot of things from history to features of Bordeaux wine. It was concluded by a tasting session of red and white wine, which was totally excellent.
