Visited this hidden gem on a Thursday in August while staying in Saint Raphael at a nearby air BNB. The museum was recommended in the guide from tourist office and definitely did not disappoint. The museum exhibitions ranged from paleolithic history to modern day diving. The only downside was that the only English text was a fairly short visitor booklet, but you can't expect everything to be spoonfed. Furthermore, the church tower and crypts were amazing with good views from the top and an amazing insight into the older church beneath the modern day church. I particularly liked the archaeological gardens showing the history of plants in the area in terms of their introductions and use in medicine. If you are staying in Saint Raphael or just visiting for a day this free experience is definitely...

The "Mythologies" exhibition in Saint-Raphaël is a true gem. For just 3€ per adult, you can explore two fascinating locations that bring ancient legends to life in a fresh, engaging way. Each space invites you to step into the world of gods and heroes, sparking your imagination and offering a unique cultural experience. It’s an easy walk from the town center, making it a perfect stop during your visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the blend of art and history—definitely...

Pleasant surprise. Small museum in the old town. Good for an one hour visit. There are various exhibits. The various topics are nicely presented. If you climb the old church tower, you will get rewarded with a great view. There is no entry fee so worth just stopping by. There are some good restaurants near by. Summer opening hours are more accommodating though not...
