Parc Georges Pompidou — Attraction in Grenoble

One of the biggest parks in Grenoble, suitable year-round for kids' sports and activities requiring space, with shaded areas for hot days, including for outdoor birthday get-togethers. Plenty of benches, a play area for kids, a basketball/micro-soccer court and pétanque area. While the water's not immaculate, kids sometimes go wading in the pond and mini-canal. People bring their dogs to the park a lot, but it's not...

It an amazing place if you just want sit on the grass and just experience the quiet. It has a good joggers track for jogging or running or walking. It's quite big as well and has a basketball court which can also be used to play 3 Vs 3 or 4...

Parc présentant plusieurs zones (coin pour les petits avec jeux et bac à sable, une pour les plus grands avec un grand jeu, étang avec poissons, étendue d'eau, grande pelouse). Sympa pour une sortie avec enfants mais pas trop longue (les jeux deviennent lassant), ou une sortie course à pieds (un tour fait 800m). L'été le bac à sable est à l'ombre l'après midi. La proximité d'une fontaine rend la zone boueuse. Pas mal d'arbres, un loueur de tricycles à pédales aux beaux jours. Point faible, les déjections canines sur les pelouses, la faute aux propriétaires. Perso c'est là que mes 3 enfants ont retiré les roulettes...
