Château Lascombes — Attraction in Lesparre-Médoc

It's my great pleasure in visiting chateau lascombes. The weather was very good and we could walk around gently in the beautiful vineyard.

Our guide studied in Uk Who could speak very fluent English that you will not have barrier in understanding anything in the estate.

What is more, the chateau is really very beautiful in the reflection of light. They are planning to renovate it for functions and accommodation in future.

If they really open the chateau for booking, we will come again without any hesitations.

Great visit at Lascombes, the visit itself was great and the property is beautiful. Two things I would say they need to improve, the price for the visit is much higher than most visits on the area and the quality of the wine in the tasting wasn’t at all comparable to other estates, and price...

Dans le cadre de Margaux Saveurs, nous avons commencé la visite de cet étonnant grand nom du medoc, par celle du chai rénové. Le projet de Lascombes est de l ouvrir au public en diffusant un film sur la propriété.

En 2001, c est la renaissance de Lascombes avec une nouvelle équipe technique. Cette propriété dispose aujourd hui de 120 hectares. Cette année, les vendanges se sont déroulées sur 11 jours. Gaëlle, notre guide nous a expliqué les différentes stades de la taille de la vigne. Dans le chai, le vin reste 16/18 mois en barriques ensuite se fait l assemblage dans des cuves enterrées. C est en visitant le caveau que nous avons trouvé la plus ancienne bouteille, elle date de 1881!!! Une visite haute en couleur aussi plaisante pour l aspect culturel, visuel et nos papilles furent mises à contribution en dégustant des mono cépages de merlot, cabernet sauvignon, ....de 2016....
