When I arrived at the visitor centre's free car park at 1pm, surprised that it was closed: I had forgotten about the French Long Lunch. I used the available time to refuel in Locmariaquer returning just before 2pm. A coach had arrived in the interval so I joined the queue. After 15 minutes I bought my ticket at the reception: 6 euros for 3 huge megalithic sites. That's what I call a bargain. I watched an interpretation video of the sites using English commentary headphones. You can join a guided tour or do as I did, walk round on your own. There is no restriction on the time you spend at the sites except for the closing times. I spent a leisurely 90 minutes soaking up the antiquity of these impressive momuments. This is an unmissable place to visit.
La Table des Merchants is a cairn constructed in 1993 around the surviving naked dolmen for the preservation of the antiquity. It was interesting to see the carved rear stone and ceiling in the chamber. However, the new cairn reminds me of the reconstructed cairn at Newgrange. I prefer my ancient monuments...

There is much you can see from outside the fence containing the site, but admission is worth a closer look and feel.
