Property closes at 7 pm. We came with a small child at 5.55 pm already having bought electronic tickets. There were nobody at the entrance, ALL responsible persons in charge have disappeared, just the dumb security guard left, who simply refused to let us in. No matter you are with a child, no matter you ALREADY HAVE TICKETS and paid real money for it. Nobody to contact, nobody picks up phone, nobody reimburses the tickets cost! No management on site, just the security android decides and determines customer policy on his own. IMPORTANT notes on what we saw: the souvenirs and toys department seems to occupy area much bigger then the one dedicated to living creatures; every customer is being seriously annoyed to take photos against some fishes and buy them printed at the exit and these employees are of course on the right place during open hours, they are eager to collect payments, "welcome"; overall building is relatively small and is not likely to contain a lot of aquarium facilities, this is much smaller than any decent aquariums in big cities we have been in, at the same time cost per person in 13 eur,...
Read moreThe aquarium was practically empty when I visited which was great, and I enjoyed my visit a lot. All information plaques and talks are in French of course but Google translate had me covered. The problem is that it's pretty small, they recommend 90-120 minutes to get through but that's really only if you have kids and are doing the interactive stuff designed for them like the online quiz. As an adult I could get through it in 30 minutes even stopping to take in everything. Because it was so quiet I did spend a couple of hours there just enjoying the calm and watching the fish, but I'm not sure it's worth nearly €20. Even booking in advance online is still €15 a ticket and that's pushing it a bit. Still it's very clean, there are quite a few benches and the fish seem to be well looked after. I just wish it were bigger and had...
Read moreI've been meaning to go here for a while and we finally got a chance.
Both of the children really enjoyed themselves, there was a bit of a line to get in but it moved fairly fast, we looked at all the tanks, we watched some short films, and had some snacks.
The only issue we had were all the strollers inside that made it difficult to move around at times other than that it was a really good family experience.
Here's a nice update, we visited the Aquarium again, so almost half a year between our visits. We went early in the afternoon this time and it was very pleasant, there were not that many people there and not too many strollers. We learned about the Myths and Realities of Sharks. The experience was very good and we might be back...
