This former bishopric palace is from the twelfth century according to its history. J'habite Meaux depuis toujours ,ce musée je l'ai visité étant petit ,donc qu'elle fut ma surprise de voir que tout a changé ! Exposition plus clair ,plus riche . c'est toujours un petit musée ,mais qui mérite d'être visité . j'ai aimé les armes médiévale ,les tableaux , les sculptures ect ... l'architecture du lieux vaut le coup d'oeil et flâné dans les allées du jardin Bossuet est toujours aussi reposant .

Très beau musée construit au XIIeme siècle (vers 1160) puis réaménagé au XVIIIème en palais épiscopale ou pour 3.10€ vous pourrez admirer des tableaux d' inspiration religieuse, mythologique entr'autre que le gardien des lieux complétera d' informations et détails qui enrichira la visite. Très intéressant!

Très bel ensemble à côté de la cathédrale. Jardin superbe plein de quiétude. Salles voûtées impressionnantes, collection de tableaux fort bien mise en évidence.. vraiment, la visite vaut le détour.

Description
The Musée Bossuet is the art and history museum of the town of Meaux, France. Situated in the old episcopal palace, it takes its name from the famous orator and theologian, Jacques-Bénigne Bossuet, Bishop of Meaux from 1681 to 1704.
