Pont Vieux — Attraction in Millau

Very picturesque bridge well worth seeing - walk along the riverbank going under the bridge carrying the D809 and carry on until you get the first glimpse of Pont Vieux through the trees. Then as you get closer you will see it's arch perfectly reflected in the water, making it seem larger than it really is.

The mill adds to the value of making the trip to see the Pont Vieux, as that is also very picturesque.

En 1415 le moulin est emporté par une crue du Tarn (ce qui laisse à penser qu’il était construit à côté du pont). Il fut reconstruit à la place qu’il occupe encore aujourd’hui dans une des tours contre la face aval de la deuxième pile du Vieux Pont. il ne reste aujourd’hui que deux arches et le moulin.
