International Museum of Modest Arts — Attraction in Montpellier

Very fantastic museum. The permanent collection is wonderful and unique. It’s the kind of museum that really surprises you. There was an exhibition of 3D printings, not nearly as nice as the collection but interesting as well. The ladies in the entrance were really kind and kept our stroller for us. A nice gallery space, the exhibition was interesting apart from the many racist artworks by an artist named Herve di Rosa, a white man. His art works featured in the exhibition were nothing short of offensive towards black people and people of colour, and this type of work shouldn’t be given a platform. Disappointing

De passage à Sète, c’est par hasard que nous nous sommes arrêtés au « miam ». Très bon accueil de la dame à l’entrée qui nous a vendu nos billets, par contre attention une fois entrés dans la salle d’exposition, c’est autre chose. Une dizaine de personnes sont installées sur des chaises dans tous les coins et sont là pour surveiller nos moindres faits et gestes, et nous agresser si nous approchions un peu trop des sculptures ou au moindre chuchotement . C’est une grande pièce sans cloisons haute sous plafond. L’exposition étant sur trois niveaux de gros escaliers de fer et assez bruyants sont installés; là aussi on se fait assaillir au moindre pas . désolés nous n’avons pas pensé à prendre nos chaussons anti bruit !!! Nous avons passé un moment détestable dans cet endroit gardé comme une forteresse, pourtant nous étions pas au Louvre loin de là, l'exposition en elle même n’avait rien d’exceptionnel, mise à part celle du dernier étage qui est intéressante, mais l’ambiance oppressante nous a clairement gâché le moment.
