This is a very interesting museum. The art comes from people who come from the edges of society, so the real interest is in reading the stories behind each artist. Having a good hold of written French might help out a lot though. In my estimation, the best part of the museum is behind the garden where you can see the artist workshop, which is preserved, and a collection of his finest work. I used to run a gallery in New York and knew a number of the artists, but more importantly discovered many more. And the building and gardens are light and bright and a pleasure to stroll through.
