There were uneducated Australians hitting on my gf while I was looking away. This isn't a beach for that.
What shocked me even more was how manipulative they were â pretending to be in trouble just to lure her over.
Can't believe it mate. It was disgusting.
They were all dressed like overweight Pitbull, and at first, I even mistook them for Italians. To make matters worse, they initially hid their Australian accents to seem more appealing. That level of sneakiness was honestly shocking.
Real Italian men tend to be more straightforward and intelligent. If they want to imitate them, they should start by imitating their character, not just the surface.
When I told an Italian friend about this, he was genuinely offended â said it was extremely insulting.
The idea that they think women around the world can be fooled by such shallow tactics is deeply disrespectful.
They clearly have no sense of time, place, or occasion â hitting on people at a beach where others go specifically to find peace and quiet.
They can't compete with real alpha males at party beaches, so they choose quiet spots where no one asked for this, disturbing everyoneâs peace. Itâs the kind of nuisance that benefits no one.
Honestly, I wish someone had properly kicked out...
Read moreBeautiful beach. We visited by walking along the small cliffside footpath from the train station in Cap dâAil. The walk was fairly easy despite the heat and was only approx 10/15 mins. The water is lovely and there is beautiful views all around. The beach itself had life guards when we visited and an open public toilet. We were worried it would be too busy - based on the fact I discovered it through instagram so presumed many others would have as well. It was busy but didnât feel overcrowded or noisy and we got there at midday when it was probably at itâs busiest. There is a few bars etc. there but they are pretty upmarket and donât sell things like bottled drinks/ice creams - so make sure to take your own as we didnât see any shops on our walk down or anywhere near. Overall beautiful beach and would definitely...
Read moreAn exquisite beach, truly a gem of the cote d'azure.
The beach itself is a mix of sand and small stones. Comfortable to lay on with a blanket/towel, can play in the sand but cant make sandcastles, dont need water shoes to protect your feet but good idea if you have them.
A small area has a jellyfish net for safe swimming. The much larger bay is teeming with fish, small octopus, plants and other sea life, bring a mask and snorkel.
Part of the beach is dedicated to two private beach clubs, but the public beach is large enough and rarely over- crowded. Public bathrooms and a faucet to wash your feet are also available.
The hike into the beach is a little bit of work, but lots of great scenery on the walk in. Kids can do this hike, but there are stairs.
The beach is in a bit of a canyon and has shade...
