Beautiful and historic golf course with tremendous views. Demanding. The rough is too deep by any reasonable standards - if you go off the fairway even a few yards there is a high chance of losing your ball. This gets a little tedious over 18 holes. After a long day we tried (at 330pm) to get some food on the terrace - just a sandwich or some frites - we got the usual " Non" so characteristic of the French hospitality industry who literally do not give a toss about customers - this was disappointing and doubly so as we had paid ( 8 in our party) 90 Euros for a round. Not the friendliest place I have ever been - maybe they are still sore about Brexit; or the war; or Agincourt who knows?...

The chef was quite rude with the other gusts at the table when they wanted a different side dish. They brought the wrong orders.
The food was nothing special at all and quite heavy.
For dessert I had the lemon merengue pie and the one they brought forgot to put in the oven... They changed it after pointing it out but to be honest it was quite bad.
