Walked thru and over the small bridges to get to the main plazas. Loved the contrasting architecture that rebuilt the war worn destroyed buildings yet kept the character of the past. The craftsmanship of the cathedrals and churches are spectacular to admire. Was amazed at the longevity of the religious houses of worship and the beautiful stained glass windows and rose windows.Each religious statue was carved to meet the architectural and aesthetic demands. Each church has its own distinct uniqueness and beauty. Can't possibly replicate these historic art pieces. The mixed blend works and is very much appreciated. We also came upon a commemorative ceremony celebrating the anniversary of the freeing of France from Germany's control during the war. Military troops from various nations honored.their cooperative efforts and then attended a special Mass at the Cathedral of Alsace. See the beauty of this over 600 year old sycamore tree in the park !

Watched the world cup 2018 final there and the athmosphere was indescriptible. The organisation and the animation were very good and had an amazing view on the giant screen put in front of the rhein. Every france goal and finally the world champion sacre made us all 25000 people jump and sing together and the the memory and the athmposhere will stay forever in our minds. Formidable day.

I love to walk in this park or hang out. It is along the Rhine River. The Park is so green. Well maintained & clean. There is playground for the kids. It is very near the City Center where there are Cafés, Ice cream Shops, Restaurants and Shopping Boutiques. The Bridge borders France & Germany. A few Minutes away from Strasbourg, France, one of the big city in North east of France.

Fährt man von Kehl am Rhein über die Grenze ins französische Straßburg findet man sehr schnell linker Hand den Hinweis auf den Garten der zwei Ufer ", französisch " Jardin des deux rives". Sicher ist die Stadt selber bestimmt sehenswert, aber wegen großer Hitze haben wir uns für den Park entschieden. Schnell findet man riesige Parkplätze. Der Park ist unglaublich groß. Neben Rasenflächen und Blumenbeeten verstecken sich kleine, von Hecken umfasste Nischen in denen Grill stehen, uns such lustige Dinge, wie zum Beispiel ein Riesen Tisch, verbergen. Es gibt Kunst und einen Planetenweg. Die Beschriftungen sind immer französisch und deutsch. Am Rheinufer kann man spazieren und nach Deutschland schauen. Geht man über die große Fußgängerbrücke hat man auf der Grenze stehend einen tollen Blick genießen. Auf den Rasenflächen kann man in der Sonne liegen oder herrlich spielen. Natürlich sind alle Wege auch mit Kinderwagen zu befahren. Ein herrlicher, weitläufiger Park der unbedingt einen Besuch wert ist.

Good place for fun to roam around and A small UFA has also been created to see. Is there a small river which is 15 kilometers long. A small ship also runs on it that will show you to places around it for 2 days..... This ship is very beautiful and whenever you come to Germany you visit this place and enjoy... Cheers 🥂

Schönes Ausflugsziel mit dem Rad sowie mit Auto und Tram D. Sehr erholsam am Rhein auf deutscher Seite spazieren zu gehen. Die Brücke für Fußgänger und Radfahrer verbindet Kehl mit Straßburg. Auch auf französischer Seite ist der Aufenthalt ebenfalls sehenswert. Hier sind noch Reste von der damaligen Bundesgartenschau zu sehen. Jedes Jahr findet ein Konzert des Philharmonika Orchesters Straßburg auf französischer Seite statt. Eine große Bühne mit zwei seitlichen Leinwände wurde aufgebaut für ein besseres Sehen auf den hinteren Plätzen. Das Publikum ist Multi-Kulti, das muss man mögen und mit umgehen können. Immer nette Begegnungen. Die Besucher sitzen auf Picknickdecken oder Stühle, die selbst mitgebracht wurden und haben ihr Proviant dabei. Es gibt auch Verkaufsbuden von Getränken und Verzehr. Früher gab es auch im Anschluss ein Feuerwerk, die letzten 2 Male fiel das leider aus. Absolute Empfehlung Kehl- Straßburg!!!!
