Église Saint-Joseph de Beauregard — Attraction in Thionville

Beautiful church that has been seriously damaged with some modern interventions in the building. One modern branch with very bad taste and totally anodine have been attached or I ignored if it comes from an irresponsible project of renovation.

Also the church is 10 meters to the motorway, so I wonder what is respect in modern times for high quality...

Église de style néo gothique dont la construction remonte à 1863. Malgré une qualité architecturale qui pourrait s'apparenter à celle d'une cathédrale, celle-ci n'a pas fait l'objet des attentions qu'elle mérite . La proximité immédiate de l'autoroute, des annexes contemporaines à l'abandon construites sur son flanc gauche et qui fusionnent grossièrement avec une partie de son architecture, des barres d'immeubles trop proches.... Comment a t-on pu laisser avancer un tel plan d'urbanisme si toutefois il y en ait eu un....!? Étrange impression que ce mélange incohérent de constructions semblant vouloir peu à peu étouffer l'église . Celle ci étant fermée, j'ai dû me contenter des photos sur le Web pour en apprécier sa beauté intérieure. Sa restauration sera laborieuse, pour autant qu'il lui soit attribuée un périmètre à la hauteur...

Неймовірно велична та красива старовинна будівля eglise Saint-Joseph de Beauregard, незважаючи на свій дуже занедбаний вигляд, могла бути візитною карткою Thionville. Підійшовши ближче та зробивши візуальний огляд, можна зробити висновки, що церква забута та покинута і терміново потребує реставраційних робіт. Вона могла б стати меккою для туристів. По вигляду, ця церква має як мінімум статус, кафедрального собору. Ця церква збудована у неоготичному стилі, між 1867 і 1869 роками. Нова дзвіниця була побудована в 1899 році.
