It’s a nice lake with clean water. I swam there before, but now 14.08.2023 there are guards walking the perimeter not allowing people to swim or even sit near the water because it’s « protected nature area » and there are too many seaweeds to swim. However, since people do actually swim there regularly in the areas that are clearly seen to be used a lot where there is basically no grass and sandy walk in there are no weeds and it was all ok when I swam. On sunny days people rent boats and jump from them as well. So I think it’s absurd to not allow swimming. Since you’re already walking the perimeter, one could just hire bodyguards to walk the perimeter instead of park police and find a designated area to swim for free not the paid beach area. Clearly, nature is fine with swimming for money. Also, the guard told me it costs 30€ in the official beach but the comments say 7€. I would have gone there if I knew it was 7€. Fun police, not...
Read moreGoddamn! Last year it was already expensive at 8€ for adults and 3€ for kids. The bargain was starting from 17:00. This year, the regular entry is 9.5€ for adults and 4€ for kids! Don’t start with your seasonal card BS! As if any reasonable person in good health spends the entire summer in Berlin. Plus, the seasonal tickets are way too expensive! What you're doing is GENT-RI-FI-CA-TION and exploiting this nonsensical ban. I vividly remember swimming there for just 2€ a few years ago. This is insane! And I hate when you pretend to care. You keep the bargain price from 17:00 for May and September! Our asses were freezing in May! You’re just squeezing us and inventing new rules to make profit. This is not a fancy Riviera beach; it’s Weissensee! Give us our affordable Radler, Wurst,...

The outside showers finally work, umbrellas and seats are free of charge but usually not enough for the average number of visitors in summer. It is very small.
You can buy drinks, ice cream, pizza and some grill goodies with card only.
I still like the place because it's well located and it's a nice and safe swim thanks to the lifeguards, but it's gotten too expensive to...
