I was here to see James Blake with a friend - we were standing out of the main crowd and had temporarily put our bags and drink cups by our feet (not in anybody's way). There was an aggressive member of security constantly pushing through the crowd, disrupting our experience of the concert, shouting "entschuldigung, entschuldigung". He was collecting people's cups, which by the way you pay a 2 euros deposit for. We had been holding onto our cups using them for water. The security guy (?) stole our cups - we asked for them back saying we are still using them and intend to collect our deposit - he brushed us off and refused to give our cups back. Completely unacceptable and ruined my concert experience - just before payday, money is very tight...I had planned to use that 4 euros for some food after the show! Also the concert hall floor was not littered with hazardous cups that it was necessary to collect them - most of us deliberately hold onto them to get our deposit back!
EDIT: seeing as the venue responded and tried to invalidate my experience; I know the difference between guests and staff, thank you. The member of staff was seen interacting with other staff/going into staff only areas. Also bar staff were informed and said they could do nothing about it. Other security witnessed this and did not care. I would not have left a negative review if this could have been resolved...
Read moreJust honestly not the best concert venue. The massive space, deep black curtains and completely flat floor makes for an impersonal setting. Despite a large crowd it feels like there wasn’t much energy between the crowd and the band. It just gets sucked away into the darkness. It would be great if they could find a way to make the space feel more intimate and provide some elevation for people in the back. The sound is really...

Garderoben waren in ausreichender Zahl geöffnet (Preis: 3€).
