Die ehemalige Jesuitenkirche zeigt prächtigen Barock. Der Baubeginn war 1617, aber die Fertigstellung erst 1740. Das Thema der Ausgestaltung ist das Wirken der Engel im Heilsgeschehen. Die heutige Universitätskirche liegt am wunderschön neu gepflasterten Leonrodplatz.

Eine interessante Geschichte die diese Kirche begleitet. Sollte man schon mal gelesen haben. Hier wurden die Männer umgebracht, reichen Frauen als Hexen verbrannt. Somit konnte die Kirche fertig gestellt werden. www.foto-in.de Gewölbe einer Nonnen- und Mädchenkloster...

Waren zum fünfzigsten Ehejubiläum in diese Kirche eingeladen. Es war ein wunderbarer Gottesdienst! Die Kirche ist sehr beeindruckend. Anschließend gab es Weißwürste und Trinken im Garten. Vielen Dank für die Einladung, es war ein herrlicher Tag, den ich nicht...
