Vogelfreifluganlage — Attraction in Essen

Visited the park and there is access to the bird space. I was pleased to see the flamingos and storks. However my heart definitely shattered to pieces at the parrot enclosure. They’re definitely caged in too small of a space, some of them seemed in distress and from their behavior people definitely feed them food. But the most heartbreaking thing was the state of the papagayos. The website says they’re rescue birds, so maybe it explains it but there should be information accessible on spot in the park because I was very sad and confused. I don’t know, I have such mixed feelings but...

Die Vogel-Freiflug-Anlage im Gruga-Park ist toll ! Hier kann man verschiedene exotische Vögel beinahe so beobachten, als säße man an einem Tümpel in einem entfernten, warmen Land.
