First timer review: (having experience from mainly belgiaN thermals , aachen and thermen erding) Went on Easter Sunday, arived at 8.55am after a breakfast at a nearby McDonald's. Happy to say that the line was really short but did start forming fast at the entrance. Entered as a couple for the naked part. Pros: +++A drink fountain, a Big plus for doing so many saunas , and you can refill your bottle to stay dehydrated.. a taboo in many other thermals for not spending money on their drinks... +++Friendly staff inside . Lightnig storm hit us around 5pm so they closed the pool for safety, actually this earns a +++ in my opinion the staff concerns our safety while some weird guests were furious. +++The pool , water is fantastic! Very soft. Welcoming temperature. Perfect. +++ Although it's one restaurant combining all sorts, italian , burgers asia... Food choice is okay and the pizza was great. The prices are very doable. +++ Saunas are huge ! And beautifully decorated/ themed. Though the kino, cinema sauna could use an update , the projector is old and barely visible . Lots of shows going on the same time , never felt I couldn't join due to overcrowding. Although I can imagine that overcrowding generally could happen on busier days like a Saturday. Cons: ---no sleeping room / relaxing dedicated area which Erding and other thermals do have , for free.. and that's the name of the game here at euskirchen, to book a chair.. okay they're just 5euro.. which I regretfully passed on, but I had no idea there's no alternative at all! It's still disappointing to not have an isolated sleeping area. Loud and crowded anyway. --steam sauna... Very small and just one.. compared to all the other immensely huge saunas . What's the thinking there .. -indoor temperature very high. Hard to cool off unless you went outside, in a thunderstorm. Seriously, it was 40 degrees. Occasionally they opened the domes.. but in the evening, during dinner I kept complaining and we were both sweating throughout dinner inside . Hard to imagine what summer will be there like in that greenhouse. while there are many big saunas , they are all more or less the same in terms of temperature/ humidity. The shows lack quality and favour quantity, feel more just about creating intense humidity. pool bar drinks.. had a Pina colada and a iced coffee latte. Both substandard quality so left the half full at the bar . the non naked zone, did a quick passerby, seems sad. Way too overcrowded. It's a kids playground, very noisy, definitely not adult friendly coming from the other zone. How can one justify the near the same price of the naked zone..just go to a waterpark.and it's more fun at least. Erding had that in between zone, for those that prefer non naked, And still looked adult friendly.
Overall give it an 8/10. Will go again, not in the weekend , but middle of the week , book a chair, in a less crowded area.. Its a good mix between an Erding and a Belgian thermal. Just under a 2hr drive for...

1.It was the first time we went there and at the entrance i asked one of the girls about the sunbeds. But unfortunately I couldn’t understand every word she said in German. Then she proceeded to ask me if I speak another language so I offered English as an option. And she said she didnt speak English and that „I SHOULD SPEAK GERMAN AS WE ARE IN GERMANY. ( the conversation was talked with a tone & attitude) Also i dont understand the logic behind that statement, because regarding her if i am in China i should speak Chinese or maybe i should not go to any country. check the cameras if you want to find which employ was. The conversation happened around 2:40.
Weird enough then she spoke to me in English, but she just said she didn’t speak English.
Well can you please tell her that customers who have paid should be treated with respect & not to remind me my location or where i come from.
Being rude, disrespectful and Racist isn’t OK.
Sure I didn’t respond to her about the way she spoke to me because i would loose my breath with negative people.
I was there with a 1 year old and the sunbed policy is very uncomfortable. Think that we have to change diapers and i had a bag with my babys milk and food. I cant leave my things everywhere around and not have a sunbed where i can open everything. If i go to the pool & then come back my bed would be busy with other people & then i have to look for a new sunbed. ( & with a baby which isn’t comfortable moving around like that, in that crowd)
To be honest you are not missing much if you dont go. On weekends you cant even swim, you just stay in the water and have a drink, it gets very crowded. I wouldn’t come again, knowing how crowded it gets, the bed policy and the attitude I received. I WAS...
Read moreThe spa area is nice, but it was the worst and very dissapointing experience ever! One of the employees was extremely rude, unprofessional and rasist during our visit. We were there with a small baby and briefly left our lounger to use the nursery room for a diaper change. When we returned, we found an employee named Nele aggressively throwing our belongings away without any warning. When we calmly asked her in English (as we do not understand German, unfortunately) where are our things, she shouted on us in a very rude tone: SPEAK IN GERMAN IF YOU ARE IN GERMANY. We told her that this kind of behavior was racist, and instead of resolving the issue, she called security on us. Shockingly, the security staff were just as aggressive and disrespectful, even though they clearly spoke English, they initially refused to help or listen. We asked to speak to the manager, but suddenly everyone, including Nele and the security guard, claimed to be “the manager.” Their behavior was chaotic, confrontational, and completely inappropriate, especially considering we were holding a baby the entire time. They treated us like animals (as we are not Germans). We asked of course to compensate at least something, because we bought the day ticket and were thrown out (with a small baby) after a few hours WITHOUT ANY REASON, but they refused to speak in a polite way and were threatening to us. We left feeling shaken, humiliated, and deeply upset. For a place that is supposed to be relaxing and customer-oriented, this kind of behavior is really unacceptable. I hope the REAL management addresses this...
