Pizza Zulu Fürth — Attraction in Fürth

Number one in Germany, we couldn't pass this opportunity to taste it. The place at first at first impression? A really weird one... There is a bar downstairs and a hotel on the first floor with outdoor seating for the pizzeria, the indoor one is a bit hidden however with the help of service we finally managed to sit down. The owner has to be a fan of football and Napoli club looking at the interior, however it is weirdly mixed with what I would call American restaurant style, but might be just my opinion. The second thing we were not entirely comfortable with were the tables, they were quite small and quite packed almost next to each other. In the case of a bigger party it is easier to merge them for sure, but for us there was little to none intimacy. When it comes to the pizza well, how could I put it. It was really good (maybe apart from the thick edges), proper Neapolitan, but I expected something more. I will come back for sure to check it again, but we hope this is not the last thing...

The pizza is great indeed but the service made a very cold and unfriendly impression. When we came in we waited for a moment thinking a waiter would ask us whether we had made a reservation and show us where we could sit down without one but the waiters just ignored us completely until we decided on our own to just sit down anywhere. After ordering the food was served pretty quickly, so that's a plus, but when we couldn't quite eat up (portions are decently big) and asked a waiter if they could maybe pack our leftovers up to take them home he seemed almost annoyed for some reason, then came back with some paper bag with a piece of cardboard standing next to us for a moment as if waiting for something but without saying anything, then again seemed annoyed by God knows what, just left the paper bag for us to pack our food up ourselves and walked away again. Just weird and...

Ich muss sagen, ich schreibe sehr wenig Bewertungen, obwohl ich viele Restaurants besuche. Aber dieses Restaurant hat es einfach verdient!

Ambiente: Es ist schön an einer Straße gelegen, mit jeglichem Zugriff auf die ÖPNV Linien und hat einen angenehmen Außenbereich. Leider ist es für Rollstuhlfahrer nicht möglich die Stufen hochzukommen, aber dass ist ein globales Problem, was nicht nur dieses Restaurant aufweißt... Beim eintreten wird man mit lauter Musik begrüßt und sieht direkt die schön durchdachte Farbpalette im Haus, welche super zur Pizzaria passt. Es ist altmodischer gehalten und eher für Feierabendtreffen geeignet und nicht für die hohen Anzugabende. Überall hängen wohlverdiente Auszeichnungen und die Mitarbeiter sind auch sehr freundlich!

Personal: Beim Eintreten wird man von allen, mit denen man Blickkontakt hat, freundlich gegrüßt. Nachdem man sich auf den Platz gesetzt hat, kam trotz großer Besucherzahl Zeitnah ein Mitarbeiter und nahm die Bestellung auf. Alle Servicekräfte sind Jung, arbeiten geschickt und Effizient und stehen immer mit einem Lächeln am Tisch. Ich wurde hauptsächlich von einem Mitarbeiter namens Stefanos bedient. Ich lasse mich gerne mal von Mitarbeitern beraten und vertraue ihren Geschmacksknospen so weit, dass ich oft sage, sie sollen mir das holen, was ihrer Meinung nach am besten Schmeckt! Stefanos hat mich hervorragend beraten und hat meinen Geschmack wirklich gut getroffen! Die 4 Formaggi Pizza war wirklich köstlich und war NICHT die teuerste Pizza auf der Karte, sowie manch andere Kellner es auswählen würden um so Geld reinzuholen. Die Mitarbeiterinnen Kira und Sahra (ich hoffe ich schreibe sie richtig) waren ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, und haben mich mit u.a. frischen Servierten versorgt! Insgesamt ein sehr tolles und sympathisches Team, was sie da aufgestellt haben!

Essen: Nun zum wichtigsten Teil: ESSENNNN! Das Essen war preislich AUßERORDENTLICH günstig. Ich hatte mit einem doppelt so hohen Preis gerechnet, nachdem diese Pizzaria ja bildlich gesprochen eine Art Krone auf dem Kopf trägt, aber dem war nicht so. Pizza für 10-17 Euro ist sehr angemessen inklusive 0,5L Getränke für 3,50€!! Bei manchen Restaurants zahlt man solch eine Summe für eine halb so große Pizza mit einem 300ml Getränk mit Eis drin. Hier kriegt man die 0.5 ohne Eis aber dennoch eisgekühlt. Die Pizza kommt heiß auf den Teller und hat einen wirklich fluffig saftigen Rand! Preislich ist da auf jeden Fall noch Platz für ein maximal 7,50 Euro Dessert (Die großen Nutellasticks wären bissl viel als Dessert denke ich...
