TUM School of Life Sciences — Attraction in Freising

An amazing campus. The auditoriums are well maintained and laboratories are modern. There is a lot of greenery on campus and quite a few nice architectural highlights (my favorite ones being the StudiTUM house on top of the Weihenstephaner Berg and the bridge in the middle of the campus). It is easy to walk around and there are several bus stations on campus too. The mensa has good and super cheap food and there are also food trucks for more options. Nach 3 Jahren Erfahrung: Mensa ist nicht so gut - die Wege aus / nach München dauern mindestens eine Stunde oneway... Studentenwohnheime sind veraltet; WGs und Appartements sind teils teurer als in München wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen und dem geringen Wohnraumangebot mit oft fragwürdiger Qualität - hier bitte anspruchsvoll sein, damit sich was auf dem Wohnmarkt ändert.
