Ein letztes Mal für die nächsten vier Jahre (2024 bis 2028) am Blaubeurer Blautopf, der jetzt sehr gründlich umgebaut wird. Erste Bäume wurden schon gefällt! Neue Wege sind geplant, auch neue Stege, neue Toiletten, ein neues Stauwehr. Man darf gespannt sein, bis es fertig ist. Die "Schöne Lau", von Fritz von Graevenitz (1892-1959) als Steinmetzarbeit geschaffen, schaut zu.

Siehst Du die schöne Lau, wird Dir der Magen flau! Abgesehen von der handwerklich toll geformten Figur ist die Geschichte dazu berührend. ...schaut euch den QR-Code vor Ort an. Die Rundwanderung in zwei Ebenen um den Blautopf ist sehr schön und jeden Besuch wert. ...auch der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Blautopf durch die Altstadt ist es wert dort hin zu fahren.

Man sieht nicht mehr als auf den Fotos. Direkt daneben gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten und eine Eisdiele. Die Fotos hier zeigen meist den Blautopf, die schöne Lau ist die unscheinbare kleine Statue vor dem Blautopf. Sie ist so unscheinbar, dass ich sie nichteinmal fotografiert habe. Aber der Ort an sich, ist einen Besuch wert.

Beautiful statue in front of the Blautopf. A very picturesque scene, unfortunately, there's nothing more to see than what's in the photos. Right next door are seating areas and an ice cream parlor. The Blautopf is usually visible, but the beautiful Lau is the inconspicuous little statue in front of the Blautopf. She's so inconspicuous that you have to look closely to recognize her. You cant spend too much time there since it is really jist a small "lake". But the colors.... It is just amazing. If you wanna make a new profile pic, I definitelly can only recommend it. Then I also recommend to have a little walk next to the river, or just eat or drink something in the coffee...
