If you didn't grow up in Germany but rather the UK or Netherlands or any other country, the first thing about this market that will shock you are the prices. It's incredibly expensive; whereas on markets such as the UK you usually visit to try to get a good deal.
That aside though, it's nice to visit occasionally if you want to go the extra mile for a succulent dish, as they carry most (German) items you may require for cooking. There's also a stall for brushes and completely random items, one for spices (both dried and whole, ground and blended together) and one for Mediterranean dishes. There are no stalls for any Asian ingredients.
In case there's something you didn't get on the market, you can just visit the Aldi which is 50m away, or the Lidl which is 250m away.
