Lohr/Main je mali grad na obalama rijeke Maine, koji ima svoj stari dio s kućama karakterističnim iz onog doba, karakterističnih drvenih fasada s ukrasima i novi dio gdje su se smestile razne kulturne i obrazovne ustanove. Stari dio grada djeluje ugodno i onako pravo starinski, no kako je dozvoljen promet automobila kroz grad to mu baš i nije neka karakteristika koja bi mu nosila veliki plus. Popili smo kavu u tschibbo shopu i za relativno malu cijenu dobili velike šalice kave, šalice veće od onih što dobijete u restoranu za juhu! Bayersturm se fino uklapa u stari dio grada nad kojim dominira svojom veličinom!

Der Turm kann bestiegen werden, über eine Holztreppe und eine Steinwendeltreppe geht es nach oben in die ehemalige Wohnung des Türmers. Von hier hat man einen guten Blick über die Stadt.
