Just had our first visit yesterday to the TV Tower and we had a great time! Even with all the wind, the skies were clear enough to get a great view of Stuttgart. The eleveator ride was pleasant as was the staff operating it. There was no line to wait to get indoors to the elevator. Once on top, there were a bunch of people, but that didn't get in the way of everyone enjoying their visit. There are two decks; the upper one is for those who are not tall enough to see over the higher wall on the bottom deck. We had lunch in the Panoramic Cafe and had a great meal! Robert was our server and he was very nice and accommodating to our family. We did have a little wait to get seated, but the food and drinks were delicious. Prices were comparable to what you would pay for a similar meal in the city. Even though the rates went up for 2022, I think the price of 10.50 Euros to visit the tower was fair. There is an app you can download which gives you lots of information on the tower during your visit. There are signs posted throughout the visit which tell you where on the app you should check out and listen. Yes, it's even in English. Overall, I think this is a great visit and experience for people of all ages when coming to...
Read moreWent there the first time with my girlfriend during New Years Eve, how ever it was crowded so we did not get to check it out. Second time we went there two weeks later during weekend, we finally were able to get in. Tickets were 7 or so euro per person, so it is not too expencive. After arriving at the elevator, which takes us up to the upper deck, during the elevation we were told a short back story of this tower, when is was built and how long it takes for the elevator to reach the top. After that we were given directions to the main upper deck. First though that ran through our minds was that it is really windy, plus the wind is quite cold. But regardless, the view was awesome, even though it was late evening and there was no more sun. But still, we made most of it and observed entire Stuttgart that was bustling. After we took few pictures, we went down to the restaurant, which was a floor below the observation desk. Sadly, there were no vegan options on the menu expect alcohol, so we left without ordering anything. P.S. the prices were rather high too. Overall, a nice place to sightsee during a bright sunny day or just as a sun is...

The view from the tower was disappointing for us. I'll start with the positives (there aren't many of them): the view is really nice. You can see the whole city and surroundings.
Negatives: the restaurant upstairs is nothing special. Old and slightly dirty environment, the offer of drinks and food has of course an extra charge, but it is not even close to the price. The coffee tasted like it came from a petrol machine, the Apfelschorle was watery and tasteless.
The price of €10 therefore only applies to the view, which does not correspond to the price in my opinion. To give an idea of the environment of the top restaurant, I am attaching photos to the review.
I completely understand that the environment of the tower is not going to change easily and it has its old ways. I completely understand that the operation of the elevator and the whole carriage must cost something. However, I will definitely never go there the...
