What a joke - a "health park" that condones smoking. You simply can't enjoy any amount of time here without someone firing up a cancer stick and polluting the air for everyone else. Constantly, like this is their home porch and it wafts to wherever you go. It's disgusting and really should be banned, but no, Kurpark management allows it for fear of "offending" smokers. Seriously, what a joke. It's a Kur Park for Pete's sake, people walk around to get fresh air, not suck in carcinogenic garbage from inconsiderate people who don't give a second thought to harming others and can't manage to do without their addiction for the time they visit. Now people are even smoking pot and cigars too.

Bad Mergentheim Kur Park alleged "garden of the year" - polluted by smokers. How lovely - Park visitor's visit for health and enjoyment be damned.

Response to "Management"'s pathetic excuses not to change policy to non-smoking - AGAIN - since obviously they don't get it: This is KUR PARK dedicated to the health and well-being of guests - which does NOT include breathing carcinogenic air. Exactly what part of that is not understood? (Apparently it is not as you stand by your absurd policy). By continuing to allow smoking in a setting meant for health, you are saying you are ok with people polluting the air of others and harming their health, no ifs, ands or buts about it. Not only do you contradict yourself, but you're enabling addicts to harm others which, last time I checked, is a psychological issue all in itself (maybe ask the psych people upstairs about that). No amount of "non-smoking" benches are going to change that (didn't occur to you that smoke travels pretty far did it?).

And you want me to do YOUR job by telling where smoking shouldn't be allowed? Seriously??? Dense much? You should know that already. Answer is: the entire park, not just individual benches since -- again-- the smoke blows everywhere. Please spare me your excuses to continue to not give a darn about people's health and go suck in someone else's cigarette, cigar or pot smoke while you're trying to get fresh air and do something good for yourself- maybe you'll get what I'm talking about then. An einem Sonntag im August 2022! Nachdem ich im angrenzenden Franken, ca. 35km von Bad Mergentheim aufgewachsen bin, verschlug es uns mal wieder dorthin. Nach einem Wildparkbesuch suchten wir den Kurgarten für einen kleinen Nachmittagsspaziergang aus. Ich habe im Vorfeld erfahren, daß sich dort ein asiatischer Bereich befindet, was ich immer sehr schön und entspannend finde. Außerdem sind wir regelmäßig in Bad Kissingen zu Gast, um die dortigen Parks zu entdecken und zu genießen. Die Messlatte lag also sehr hoch. Nach erfolgreicher Parkplatzsuche haben wir den Kurpark betreten und ich muss sagen: WOW...... wirklich sehr schön angelegt mit wunderschönen Bachläufen, einem sehr schönen Wasserspiel mit Musik, eine kleine, aber feine Saline. Der Rosengarten hat, was nicht verwunderlich war, unter der langen Hitzeperiode sehr gelitten, man konnte sich aber vorstellen, wie diese Blumenpracht aussehen könnte. Die restliche Bepflanzung im Park war optisch ein Genuss. Der asiatische Teil war zwar relativ klein, dafür aber wunderwunderschön gemacht. Wir haben uns dort auf einer Bank niedergelassen und das Plätschern des Wassers genossen. Fazit: Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde hier in Bad Mergentheim. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch. Schöne Grüße...

Bezieht sich nur auf das Kurparkfest am 16.7.22. es hätte so schön werden können, aber leider maßlos enttäuscht. Ambiente sehr schön, Musik sehr unterhaltsam. Genügend Sitzplätze vorhanden. Menschen ohne Ende und dann kaum Essensstände. Die vorhandenen total überfordert und überlaufen. Hungrig hin und leider auch hungrig wieder nach Hause. Die Schlangen an den Ständen rissen nie ab, ein langosch gegessen, das ist es schon gewesen. Dort 30 Minuten angestanden, nochmals 30 Minuten beim Crepes. Grillstand die längste Schlange. Da ging leider gar nichts voran. Getränkestand heillos überfordert. Bestellungen angenommen und dann nicht mehr gewusst wer was möchte. Ein Durcheinander wie ich es noch nie gesehen habe. Sehr schade. Für mich nach einer Stunde Anfahrt leider nichts mehr. Wenn sich an der Organisation nichts ändert nicht zu empfehlen und kommen leider auch nicht...
