It is a great experience! You will learn interesting facts about watchmaking, you will have a pleasant and interactive experience by composting a timetable each time you get into the next room. Not only that, but there is someone there that will demonstrate on working machines since 1900 how different parts are made.

I don't usually stay and read everything in a museum, but this one caught my curiosity and I spent close to 2 hours in 4 little rooms. (you can also build a small plastic clock in the...

Very interesting. Nice demos of the production machines. Very friendly lady though she was alone anda bit overworked having to both greet visitors and do the demos.

There was also an exhibition we didn't expect concerning life in the old days in the village based on historical documents but framed as individual choices. Eg "is accurate time keeping important"....

Small but very interesting history of the clock industry in Schwenningen. There are no hands-on exhibits, but the displays are nicely designed and well maintained. If you can not read German, keep your phone handy to use Google translate to read the information. If you are interested in clocks, machining, or engineering, make sure to check it out.

Small but wonderful museum. Staff is passionate. The kids love to 'clock in' at multiple places in the museum. The lady showed us a lot of working machines wich was impressive. She took the time to show our kids. Definitely worth the time (and low admission)

Small but informative museum with lots of clock making equipment and displays. The lady at the front desk was very helpful. I discovered that two of my clocks in Australia were made here!
