What a wonderful visit!

As an American, I found about this location doing a Google search, and it did not disappoint. I stopped in when I had a free hour to kill while on a viking river cruise.

A gentle 10 minute walk to the ship is all it takes. I was rewarded with 3 great glasses, of which I preferred the grand rose the most. Monica greeted me and walked me through the options. I was reluctant to go, as I only speak English and I was by myself. Monica spoke wonderful English and was very helpful in explaining the wines.

One of the best Champagnes I’ve ever had. The Grand Rosé is an absolute must. The prices are extremely low for such quality. If you find yourself in Breisach take the small walk to Geldermann. Try to arrive at 14:00 for the tour, it’s in German but if there’s very few people they might be willing to accommodate.
