Die Burg aus dem 12. Jahrhundert ist leider nur an wenigen Tagen geöffnet. Schade, denn der Blick vom Bergfried auf Frauenstein ist sehr schön. Das Innere ist liebevoll restauriert und mit einigen Bildern und (echten ?) Relikten ausgestattet. Der Aufstieg nach oben ist kurz, aber nichts für Gehbehinderte oder kleine Kinder. Wenn man bedenkt, dass der Verein die Burg aus eigener Kraft in Schuss hält, Respekt vor dem Engagement! Für einen längeren Ausflug allerdings weniger geeignet, denn die Burg ist klein und in der Nähe gibt es nur wenig empfehlenswerte Gastronomie...
