Excellent place for recreational activities. It was nice and peaceful when we visited there on a summer Saturday afternoon. Perfect to spend time with family and friends. Number of campers with tents and camping vans, but not overcrowded. Nice ‘beach’ for children to play in water during the summers. A restaurant on-site to enjoy snacks, coffee and ice cream.
Ist eine kleine Erholungsinsel zwischen Mainz und Wiesbaden. Man kann dort Schwimmen und Zelten. Die Insel verfügt auch über ein kleines Kiosk/Cafe. Für Vegetarier gibt es nicht besonders viel Auswahl aber immerhin Pommes.. Der kleine Sandstrand ist leider auch mit viel Entenkacke "ausgestattet" und man muss aufpassen wo man hin tritt. Man darf dort grillen (keine Einweggrills!) und es gibt 3 Tischtennisplatten sowie Duschen, Toiletten und Schaukeln. Leider zur Zeit nur über die Fähre erreichbar.
