BadeLand Wolfsburg — Attraction in Wolfsburg

Thrash. Unfinished facility with nothing but a lazy river and lane swimming. They don't have any info on what is and what isn't open. Then we went to see the Sauna and it didn't give any info on the entrance but they turned out to charge us all 3-hour sauna tickets full price, even though the girls were only passing through and never actually went to sauna and the child in our group didn't get access altogether and never even went in. Nevertheless they were extremely rude while insisting charging all 5 of us full price. Pathetic. Also, the aufguss was a bit silly lasting like 2 mins.

Edit: it is clear where the staff got their poor rude attitude from. What a disgrace! Instead of apologizing and treating your customers with some decency, you choose to question my integrity. Class act! Look, was I there or were you? Did I look at your website or socials? No. We were with a group including kids as stated and we just went in without reading every sign. When you get inside... It might be an idea to have, say, a MAP telling you where to go and which areas are not accessible. Then when you go from the pool area to the sauna, and there is a lonely turnstile in what can only be described as a maze of hallways, perhaps put a SIGN there that says: 'your wristband will be charged if you go beyond this point'. Finally, if your customer say they didn't visit the Sauna and they don't want to be charged incorrectly, then maybe listen to them instead of acting like a 5 year old, shouting at them and throwing a temper tantrum. Calling my review 'misinformation' is so petty and pathetic. I was expecting an apology and a link to where I can file a formal complaint and get...

used to be a good place to relax, now they separated the pool areas in two and force you to pay for minimum three hours for their Spaßbad. that's right, if you want to enjoy a nice swim, you now have to be there at 18:00 if you don't want to waste your money, as it closes at 21:00. this is ridiculous. and if you could atleast enjoy 3 hours of swimming it would be something else. but no, your timer starts as soon as you go through the gates, which means that your changing room and shower time is part of their priced pool experience. that's just ridiculous. with the changing room cabins being so few, you can expect 15-30 mins of the swimming time you paid for to be spent not swimming. they also reduced the water temperatures to "save energy", which detracts from the experience. this is not the staff's fault, but the city's, and i hope the city gets enough negative attention and consequences to rethink their recent changes as they make this place simply not worth the money.

oh, and don't bother eating or drinking in here. just don't. everything is as overpriced as can be and is designed to scam you out of your money. not even tourist traps charge...

Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich 3 oder 4 Sterne geben sollte. Eigentlich ist es für mich eine 3,5 😉 Das Personal an der Kasse war sehr freundlich. Das Badeland ist sehr schön gestaltet, besonders das Wellenbad gefällt mir sehr gut. Durch den weiten Wellenauslauf kommt ein bisschen ein Strandfeeling auf. Ich finde es nur recht klein. Ich war unter der Woche vormittags dort, da war es absolut ok. Aber bei mehr Andrang kann ich mir vorstellen, dass es schnell zu voll wird, besonders im Wellenbad. Auch gibt es nicht so viele Liegen. Die Rutschen sind ok, nichts besonderes. Es gibt eine Röhrenrutsche und eine Reifenrutsche mit ein paar Lichteffekten, aber recht langsam. Das Aussenbecken ist schön groß und der Strömungskanal eigentlich ganz gut, nur stellenweise sind die Düsen zu stark eingestellt. Mir hat es ein paar Mal meine Tankini-Badehose vom Hintern gerissen 😂 Ansonsten hat mir der Strömungskanal gut gefallen. Auch gut gefallen hat mir der große Whirpool-Bereich. Dort ist auf jeden Fall recht viel Platz für mehr Menschen. Weil ich vorher hier viele negative Kommentare über die Luft- und Wassertemperatur gelesen habe, muss ich dazu sagen, dass die Temperaturen absolut ok waren. Ich habe weder ausserhalb des Wassers gefroren, noch im Wasser. Das einzige war, dass das Wasser im Aussenbecken wärmer war als das Wasser im Innenbereich. Deshalb wurde das Wasser merklich kühler, wenn man von draußen nach drinnen kam. Aber auch dort habe ich nicht gefroren. Ich empfand es auch nicht unangenehm, es wurde nur halt ein bisschen kühler, wenn man wieder rein kam. Dazu muss ich aber auch sagen, als ich dort war, herrschte eine Außenlufttemperatur von ungefähr -7 Grad, da ist es absolut ok, wenn der Aussenbereich stärker beheizt wird als der Innenbereich. Das Restaurant empfand ich tatsächlich als absolut gar nicht gelungen. Der Sitzbereich ist ungemütlich. Das Personal ist gelangweilt bis desinteressiert. Das Verzehr-Angebot mittelmäßig. Ich habe nur etwas getrunken, deshalb kann ich nichts über die Qualität des Essens sagen. Die Atmosphäre machte nicht wirklich Appetit. Das Sportbecken habe ich nicht genutzt, da ich nur zum Spaß dort war, aber es sieht sehr gut aus. Sehr groß, sodass Jeder in Ruhe seine Bahnen ziehen konnte. Das funktioniert in anderen Schwimmbädern wesentlich schlechter. Alles dort war sauber und angenehm. Ebenfalls waren genug Schwimmeister dort, die aufgepasst haben, besonders am Wellenbad. Die Preis-Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall. Wenn man in der Nähe ist, kann man dort auf jeden Fall hingehen. Ich bin dafür 120 km eine Strecke gefahren, dafür lohnt es sich dann nicht, dass ich öfter dorthin fahre. Aber ich würde wiederkommen, wenn ich mal wieder in...
