When I visited Gallery 1957, it felt like stepping into a world where every piece of art had a story to tell. The exhibition then was centered around THE YELLOW BIG KEG, and it completely caught my attention. It wasn’t just an artwork; it was a story that pulled you in and made you see beyond the surface. What really amazed me was learning that the gallery changes its storytelling art from time to time, so each visit feels new and full of surprises. The space itself was calm, open, and beautifully designed, giving me the freedom to move around and take everything in at my own pace. There was also a chillzone, which had this cool and creative vibe that made the experience even more interesting. I also loved that I was free to take pictures — it made me feel more connected to what I was seeing. The lady who attended to me when I walked in was so calm and welcoming; she had this gentle way of explaining things that made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Gallery 1957 isn’t just about viewing art it’s about feeling it, experiencing it, and walking away inspired.

Gallery 1957 has been a great place to visit even after having been there twice , I'm still amazed as if it was love at first sight. Where to start from, the location ? Yes. Well located in the beautiful kempinski hotel, there are so many levels of art/crafts you may found during your visit , we even got overwhelmed of pleasure by them. Well preserved, cleanliness on point and on top of that , it is totally free of charges. for such incredible place it is very magical and kudos to the management team and staff behind that. I am very appreciative and lucky to have visit and why not continue to visit such a great place. I did add it to my favourite activities to do whilst in Accra.

I can comfortably give this gallery a 5 star rating because of all the galleries I have visited in Ghana, it tops all. In terms of experience, environment, ambience, art pieces, creative direction, and architecture, this place is just spectacular. Both galleries are breathtaking and it invites you to explore art in a way you have never before. The story that is told through the art direction is very engaging and it immensely takes you away to explore a world of creativity. I enjoyed every inch of this amazing gallery and I would recommend anyone who enjoys art to definitely visit this gallery. I promise on my experience that you will enjoy yours.
