Swallow — Restaurant in Accra

The service is Mid. The chicken salad was terrible. It didn't taste good. I asked for ranch for the salad, and they don't offer that either.

They were out of most of the cocktails advertised. The long island was way too strong and even after having them adjust it three times, it tasted like straight alcohol.

The beef and rice was good. The meat was tender, so that was good; aside from that, it's not a place I will recommend.

I would leave this here, but I hate lies. Per the owner's response, I requested a drink not on the menu, and that's a lie! I asked for two cocktails, and per the bartender, “we don't have pineapple Juice” We asked what he would you recommend for us, and he said, “Mai Tai” but we don't have pineapple juice for that. So then I requested the long island”. When the long island came, I tasted it, and it tasted like 80 % alcohol, so I asked for an adjustment, to which the bartender said, “ some customers say they like it strong” I then replied that he add more coke, but it still tasted strong, and I left it at that. I never asked that they take the salad out of my bill; I would have paid for the service as long as I touched that salad. Taking it off the bill WILL NOT change my review.

I understand ranch isn't typical in Ghana, but for a place that caters to international clients, I wouldn't be wrong to ask. I can understand the owner based...

A nice hidden gem for staff of nearby companies. Clean and spacious comfortable setting. Staff were great too but one thing I did note was how uncomfortably cold it is in there. I appreciate air conditioners but the temperature in there felt like Autumn in England minus the warm clothes. Other than that, the food was amazing. I had the sweet potato fries with palava sauce with fish. I wasn't sure about that order and how well both foods work together but they're all my favourite things and I wasn't disappointed. The fries were crispy and the fish was well seasoned. I also appreciated that the portion sizes were not too small and not too much and I would definitely get the same order...

One of the few restaurants in Accra where I know for certain that I won't be disappointed. My favourites? Their fresh salads, chicken and mushroom pie (perfectly baked pastry!) , and that delicious grilled salmon. On Saturdays, the Eggs Royale are a much- enjoyed treat after a long working week. And don't get me started on those mouthwatering deserts!...
