Beautiful cave and I can quite proudly say its also one of the most magnificent i have seen not just in Greece but in general regarding European caves. A great guide and a interesting tour along with a premission to take pictures and touch formations, which greek caves are not famous for because of the fact that in other more "popular" greek caves which do not even allow taking pictures for the reason being that they want a even bigger profit from visitors to buy pictures from souvenire store, but here that's not the case and you are allowed to picture stuff. This cave is not too big, this mostly has to do with the place its located in, its basically saturated on a relatively small hill whom is around 800m on each side and its in a middle of non karst/limestone plains and its one of the rare hills in the area that have karst topography. Again about its size, its not too big but neither is it truly small, around 300m for tourists to visit so to speak, while that again may seem small you will totally ignore that fact when you start noticing the beauty of this cave and then it will seem respectivally bigger. There are two floors of the cave, whom are both made out of chambers of diffrent sizes and are mostly rich with formations like stalagmites and stalactites of extremely interesting shapes and large varient of sizes, there are many more things to talk and explain about this place, but that would just spoil the experiance, which leaves you to visit it and apporove all of my statements above. Wish that this cave gains larger an d larger interest over the coming years, all they also need is an souvenir shop, but regardless, simply everything about this...

Our visit would have been stale without the presence of Mr Harris who explained in full detail everything about this cave and gave a special flair with his personality and colourful guidance.
Few places manage to blend mesmerizing geological features, fossils frozen in time, healing qualities and educational interpretation into a single destination. Definitely...
