If you go to Ionian sea in Greece you will pass by this wonderful place. It is highly recommended to visit it. If you stay overnight make sure that you have some winter clothes because place is on mountain and nights are very cold. Place architecture is from old times and good thing is that new buildings are made in same way so everything is perfect here, you can feel like you traveling trough time. Parking is free. Don’t miss some of very nice restaurants with fantastic domestic food. Lamb meat is special in this area.

The village is very nice and it is a vintage style, the atmosphere is very pleasnt and the forest is near the village. The air is very nice and refreshing and the temperature is lower than usual. They have several restaurants like one, we sat in one of them, and ordered chicken fillet for lunch, and fondant chocolate for desert. The delivery was very fast and the food we ordered was delicious. The staff was pleasant and helpful, they gave us water for our dog without asking. So, I recommend you to visit this place.

There are only a few houses worth seeing on this square, but it is the high-price zone of town with permanent harassment by hikers. This applies both to food and drink and to shops selling clothing or souvenirs . If you look at the prices for beer, wine, or coffee, the term ‘tourist traps‘ comes to mind. The only exception seems to be the large beer garden ‘Estatoria Psitaria Galaxias‘. There is good chilled beer and also delicacies from the Greek cuisine. Both still at reasonable prices.

Metsovo is one of the most beautiful villages-town of the northern Greece. Famous for its cheese selection. You should definitely get in one of the stores to try and buy some. The square is beautiful and clean. Walk around and you will not regret it. Going during winter you will enjoy the brilliant views of the surrounding mountains with snow. If you are not planning on staying for lunch or dinner calculate around 2-3 hours in order to take it all in.

Very nice old village. It is accessible from the highway 🛣. It is very close and road is very good. Very picturesque village. There are a lot's of shops selling all kinds of cheese 🧀 .Restaurants offer various food. We were recommended to visit a restaurant which is part of a hotel but there was crowded and service wasn't the best. I recommend visiting this place and buying a suvenir. Most probably, I will come again.

Nice and shady, perfect for a “pit stop” from the highway on a hot summer day. The square has a lot of character and is surrounded by well maintained traditional buildings, lots of coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and stores selling local products. A bit more parking space wouldn’t hurt, or some better signage to get you back on the highway. Overall a great experience, very charming.
