Very well organized museum on an excellent building. Some special events art and sculpture related , comparison of the ancient and modern ceramics taking place. Andros ancient history is very well presented there and is a must when you visit.

Don't skip the chance to see the Roman copy of the floating Artemis' torso, little marble hellenistic Aphrodite and Hermes of Andros. Details of marble work is very impressive. Overall very interesting museum.

Many interesting pieces but their smiley art from 9 century bc impressed and amused me greatly. They are depictions of dieties apparently but in the age of fb, you may consider them the first smileys

Μέσα Ιουνίου το επισκεφτήκαμε. Δυστυχώς σου αφήνει μία αίσθηση εγκατάλειψης και αδιαφορίας. Περπατούσαμε και αισθανόμασταν ότι είχαμε άμμο στα παπούτσια μας και υπήρχε και μία άσχημη μυρωδιά κλεισούρας και μη ανανεωμένης ατμόσφαιρας. Ωραία τα εκθέματα και αναλυτικές οι περιγραφές, σου δείχνουν την ιστορία του νησιού από την αρχαιότητα μέχρι σήμερα. Λίγη προσοχή στις λεπτομέρειες....
