We have been here end of June and enjoyed the beautiful place. If you don't mind to walk over a few stones on the beach aerea, you will find some sand under your feet and the perfect place to swim and relax. Most of the time, the water was very calm, so perfect for kids / people who can't swim that good, but we also had some "wavy" days which meant a lot of fun for good swimmers. Due to the fact, it was very hot that time, we were happy to use the umbrella and beach beds (set 10Euro/day) and enjoyed the special service (great job from a guy called Andonis..thanks so very much again to turn our holiday as well into a nice one) to get drinks and food directly to the beach from the tavern/hotel right across the street. Read moreWe visited Oitilo Beach on the last weekend of August. The setting itself is beautiful, with lovely views of the bay and a relaxing atmosphere. Renting an umbrella and two sunbeds in the front row cost us €10, which felt reasonable, though it’s worth noting that before 6pm the price is €25.
While the views were nice, we were disappointed with the water. It looked dirty inside, which made us decide not to swim. That took away from the experience, as swimming is usually the highlight of a beach visit.
